Health, Safety & Work-Life Directorate
(CG-11)

RADM Mark Tedesco is the Director of the Health, Safety & Work-Life Directorate, which consists of these three offices:

The Office of Work-Life (CG-111) is responsible for establishing, developing and promulgating Work-Life policy and interpreting program standards for Coast Guard-wide implementation.

The Office of Health Services (CG-112) provides health care to active duty and reserve members in support of Coast Guard missions, ensures the medical and dental readiness of all Coast Guard members to maintain ability for worldwide deployment, and ensures the availability of quality, cost effective health care for all eligible beneficiaries.

The Office of Safety and Environmental Health (CG-113) is dedicated to protecting our people, increasing operational readiness and enhancing the mission effectiveness of all Coast Guard units.
