Hearings & Events

The Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship is responsible for all proposed legislation, messages, petitions, memorials, and other matters relating to the Small Business Administration (SBA). The Committee holds hearings, and conducts other oversight activities to ensure that the SBA is properly administering programs and carrying out the intent of Congress. In addition, the Committee oversees all issues of concern to small businesses across the country, including access to capital, affordable health care, rising gas and energy prices, fair contracting, taxes, regulations, and business training, among other issues.
