Regions of the United States |
The regions of the United States are geographic areas which include multiple states. The regional groupings presented here and their definitions are from standard language used by libraries and reflect the groupings used in the classification system for maps. The visual grouping of regions into five maps assists users in comparing and contrasting the contents of each region. The Regions are included in the bibliographic records and are also available for access through the "Subject Index".
