Dear Colleagues:  

 

The first annual Pfizer Health Literacy in Advancing Patient Safety
Award will recognize an individual, group or organization which has made
significant strides in improving the health literacy of their
constituents or community through research, advocacy, or program
implementation in order to improve patient safety and quality of care.
The award recipient will receive a one-time grant from Pfizer in the
amount of $15,000.

 

Individuals may nominate themselves or their program or institution, or
can be nominated by a third party. All nominations must be submitted
electronically to cnorcross at npsf.org <mailto:cnorcross at npsf.org>  by
5:00pm eastern on March 14, 2008.  Nominations will not be accepted
after the deadline.
