The Compliance Branch provides Department of the Army headquarters, Installation Management Command, major commands, and installations with compliance support in the air, water, waste, toxics, and storage tank media areas. The Branch tracks new federal regulations, assesses the impact on the Army, provides the Army's comments to queries from regulators, and keeps the Army informed about new regulatory activity. It provides Army program management in assigned areas on behalf of the Compliance Team in the Office of the Director of Environmental Programs, and provides technical support and guidance to Army headquarters and installations in the following areas:

• Drinking Water Management
• Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act Reporting
• Environmental Legislative and Regulatory Analysis and Monitoring Program (EL/RAMP)
• Hazardous Waste Management
• Integrated Solid Waste Management
• Storage Tank and Spill Management
• Toxics Management (PCBs, Asbestos, Lead-based Paint, Radon)
• Wastewater Management
• Watershed Management
