ORNL Fitness Centers
ORNL employees have free access to two on-site gyms. The main fitness center is located in Building 4500S, Room T-2, and a smaller one is located in the Spallation Neutron Source Central Lab and Office Building (8600), Room C-G74. Both facilities are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Before using the facilities, employees are required to go through equipment training, which can be completed online.
Other Fitness Activities
ORNL has many sports and fitness clubs, including the Soccer Club, Bicycling Club, a running/walking group, and more. For more information, including detailed descriptions and club contacts, please visit the Wellness/Sports website.
Employees who wish to do so are encouraged to walk and/or jog on ORNL property; however, these activities are restricted to certain areas, which are marked on this map of walking/jogging-friendly zones.
