ASTER
Data Products
ASTER provides the user community with
Standard Data Products throughout the life of the mission.
Algorithms
to compute these products
were created by the ASTER Science Team, and are implemented at the Land
Processes DAAC.
Users can order these products through the
Warehouse Inventory
Search Tool (WIST).
The
Product Version Table provides product history information. This table will be very useful for users who need to know the dates and Release Designations associated with different versions of the software (or "PGE") used to generate the products. For the Level 1 products, complete version history is available in the
Level 1 Release Notes that are maintained by Japan.

* Release Status:
- Provisional. This product is only partially
validated. Under some circumstances it may be useful in scientific
publications, however, because validation is not complete it may have
reduced accuracy. Caution is strongly advised, and the product should be
identified as "provisional" in any publications.
- Validated. This product has been formally validated
and is ready for use in scientific publications. Later, improved versions
may be released.
