Ginnie Mae Reporting and Feedback System (RFS) and GinnieNET Information

RFS Issuer Testing Procedure for New Ginnie Mae IssuersLast Updated July 22, 2009

The purpose of this document is to explain the process by which a new Ginnie Mae Issuer can become approved to begin using the Ginnie Mae Reporting and Feedback System (RFS) to complete monthly investor reporting.

RFS MBS Guide Changes

The chapters, appendices and forms have been updated to reflect reporting changes as they relate to RFS. Issuers that choose to report via RFS on July 1, 2009 must follow the instructions outlined in the MBS Guide updates below.

Additional MBS Guide changes are forthcoming.

RFS Training

The following presentation describes how to use RFS to submit monthly investor reporting data. This is the same presentation that was used during the instructor-led web based training classes given on April 29, 2009 and May 12, 2009. These training materials are updated to reflect IRTS version 5.0 changes.

Industry Conference Call Information - Reporting and Feedback System (APM 09-10)

The Ginnie Mae RFS Team participated on conference calls (APM 09-10) to discuss the Reporting and Feedback System and issuer testing timetable. There were two conference calls on April 14, 2009. The first conference call was for new or existing issuers that have not started RFS issuer testing. The second conference call was for existing issuers that have started or completed RFS issuer testing.

This APM provides an updated RFS implementation schedule, information about RFS Issuer Testing, implementation of Ginnie Mae's Unique Loan ID, modifications to the GinnieNET Schedule of Pooled Mortgages (HUD Form 11706) file layout, and minor changes to the RFS Issuer IRTS.

Issuer Reporting Technical Specification Document (IRTS)Last Updated February 27, 2009
The IRTS demonstrates how to submit monthly pool administration data files in RFS. The IRTS provides the technical specifications for issuers and servicers regarding Ginnie Mae's changes in monthly pool, loan package, and loan level reporting processes.
