Dear New Yorker, On February 17, 2009 President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to get our economy moving again. New York State is expected to receive $26.7 billion for updating our infrastructure, improving our schools and training our unemployed. The pages of recovery.ny.gov will detail how we spend that money, and provide information for governments, organizations and other entities interested in applying for funding under ARRA.
