As the internet continues to evolve, the National Weather
Service continues to provide more and more information on the
internet, including radar, educational materials, and
more.
National Weather Service NEXRAD Doppler Radar is our greatest tool during
severe weather. A full suite of products is produced: products
that don't just show rain, but show wind velocity, liquid water content,
and estimated precipitation accumulation. Links to some of our other
radar products are available once you select a city above.
Your Memphis NWS has put together
an extensive list of Educational Resources. Some of
these are from NOAA; some are from outside sources.
All of them are excellent links for
educators.
A new feature we are working with
is placing multimedia slideshow presentations on our webpage.
We plan to keep adding presentations to this section to
bring more information to the public.
