The recent exchange about subject headings is a good reminder to all. Please follow these guidelines when posting messages to the list:

To add a comment or question to a discussion thread: click reply and keep the pre-named subject, if appropriate. If, however, you notice that the existing subject heading was carried over in error and is not relevant to the current topic, please amend it. Keep it simple and clear (i.e. GED resources, Basic Ed. Software, Special Ed. Math).

To begin a new discussion thread: Please do NOT use the reply function on an existing message to begin a new discussion topic. Compose a new e-mail message addressed to: nifl-technology@literacy.nifl.gov, give it a clear, simple subject name (see above) and send.

When replying to a message, the originator's message is automatically copied into your reply. If part or all of the originator's message is not necessary for understanding your reply, please delete it so we can avoid distributing extremely long e-mails to one another.

Thanks very much for your cooperation.

For other "netiquette" tips, please review the guidelines at:

Best,

--Emily
