(CSAT, por sus siglas en inglés)
El CSAT, parte del Servicio Administrativo de Abuso de Sustancias y Salud Mental (SAMHSA, por sus siglas en inglés), apoya los servicios de tratamiento a través de subvenciones en bloque, disemina los hallazgos al campo, y promueve su adopción. El CSAT también opera la Línea Telefónica Nacional de Referencias a Tratamientos (1-800-662-HELP). Las publicaciones del CSAT están disponibles a través del Centro Nacional de Información sobre el Alcohol y las Drogas (1-800-729-6686).

Las Comunidades Terapéuticas de América (TCA, por sus siglas en inglés)
Es una asociación de organizaciones miembros que aboga y promueve el entendimiento de las CT. Sus propósitos son aumentar el conocimiento de la filosofía y la metodología de las CT; desarrollar y promulgar los estándares de calidad para los programas de las CT y los profesionales involucrados; proporcionar a los miembros con información, una red de contactos, y foros para promover la metodología de las CT; y crear un ambiente de apoyo para los miembros para sus esfuerzos individuales y para una representación nacional.
