What OIG Investigators Do?
The OIG's investigators are Federal law enforcement officers who conduct criminal and regulatory investigations involving the programs and activities of PBGC. For instance, the OIG investigates allegations of theft of pension benefits or plan assets, travel-related fraud, procurement improprieties, and employee and contractor misconduct.
To assist PBGC in accomplishing its' important mission with integrity, the public and PBGC employees and contractors are encouraged to report suspected crime, fraud, waste & misconduct to the OIG. Contact us through our Hotline for reporting matters confidentially.
