Programs and External Relations

Staff
The Department of Justice (DOJ) Programs and External Relations Section manages and coordinates a number of Departmentwide human resources initiatives and programs including the DOJ Human Capital Strategic Plan; Drug Free Workplace Program; Voluntary Leave Bank Program; Special Events, Ceremonies and Campaigns; Military Affairs and Ready Reserve; Employee Details and Remployment Priority List; Voting Assistance; and Volunteer and Community Service Programs.

The Annual Attorney General’s Awards Ceremony, the Combined Federal Campaign, the Annual DOJ Volunteer Awards Ceremony, and Drug Testing are included among the many programs managed by this Section.

All of these programs play a vital role in ongoing Departmentwide efforts to recruit, hire, and retain a talented and diverse workforce; acknowledge and honor exceptional contributions made by DOJ employees; and promote volunteerism.
