The NeMO 2006 expedition aboard the R/V Thompson was at sea between August 22 and September 7, 2006. Logs and images sent from the ship are posted to the 2006 calendar.

The NeMO 2006 expedition was the eighth in the string of submersible cruises that started in 1998 when the PMEL VENTS Program began a multi-year seafloor volcano observatory. (Read more about the expedition from the cruise summary log entry of September 6, 2006).
