Clean Diesel Initiative's Leadership Group Launch Meeting"
September 6, 2006 at U.S. EPA Region 5 Office, Chicago, IL
USEPA Region 5's Midwest Clean Diesel Initiative assembled a group of various sector leaders from across the Midwest to provide perspective as we move forward to achieving the goal of impacting one million diesel-powered engines by 2010. Over 30 organizations were invited to participate in the kick-off meeting of the Midwest Clean Diesel Leadership Group (Leadership Group). The Leadership Group agreed that a concerted effort among public and private sectors is essential to reducing diesel emissions in the Midwest.
