The objective of this initiative is the creation of a central mechanism--a portal which will ultimately emulate the projected functionality of GOS 2, The National Map, and NC OneMap--that will enable citizens, businesses, and geospatial analysts at local, State, and Federal levels to share, find, and obtain access to geospatial resources and to geospatially-empowered applications both within and beyond the borders of South Carolina.
