1. Complete the site setup and get data input so it is ready to go live.
2. The Web site must be in its own "house.gov" domain for testing (i.e., not "test.mycompany.house.gov/officename" or "www.house.gov/officename"). The standard name is "test.officename.house.gov". Contact Web Solutions to get the "test" domain set up.
3. The Web site must reside in the "house.gov" domain for the CAO security audit. CAO Security will not scan Web sites outside the house.gov domain.
4. The site must pass an CAO security audit. Please contact Web Solutions to schedule the security audit. Please allow 5 business days per audit request. New vendors or developers should allow more time to handle failed audits.

6. When the URL or Web site vendor changes, the House Office must submit the "Web Hosting & URL Form", available internally on HouseNet. The form must be faxed to Web Solutions.
7. If CAO Web Solutions will be publishing the site, the House Office must submit the "Publish Authorization" letter , available internally on HouseNet. This letter indicates the Member/Chairman/Leader has reviewed and approved the new Web site. The letter must be faxed to Web Solutions.
