  • The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) regulates Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks as authorized by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.  The portal to information about this new agency is www.fhfa.gov.  While this is under construction, the previous Web sites for the predecessor agencies, the Federal Housing Finance Board (www.fhfb.gov) and the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (www.ofheo.gov) will remain active.  Once the FHFA's Web site is complete, the former agencies will retire there existing Web sites and you will be redirected to FHFA.

Press releases, speeches, publications, and testimony before Congress inform the public about Finance Board's position on safety and soundness issues of the FHLBank System.
