Initiative Sponsors

The FFIEC Reports Task Force has primary oversight for the Call Report Modernization Initiative, consistent with its role of promoting interagency cooperation to improve regulatory reporting efforts. An interagency Initiative Steering Committee, which includes three senior executives from each of the Agencies (FDIC, FRB, and OCC), meets regularly to establish requirements for the CDR and to actively monitor progress. Significant information sharing is also conducted through several industry focus groups, which began convening monthly in August 2003.
