Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security
Membership List
Revised Membership List
Listed below are the names of the individuals who have been selected to serve on the Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security, including two new members added on February 9, 2000. The Commission received and considered nominations for approximately 190 candidates, all of whom were highly qualified. In selecting members to serve on the Committee, the Commission strove to create a membership that would be balanced in terms of viewpoints and expertise, and would adequately represent the diverse interests affected by the issues being discussed. Unfortunately, in order to ensure a manageable size for the Committee, the Commission was forced to narrow the list of qualified nominees to 40 members.
We thank everyone who submitted nomination letters, and we encourage all nominees to submit comments for consideration by the Advisory Committee, and to attend the remaining public meetings of the Committee on February 25, March 31, and April 28 of this year. For further information about Advisory Committee meetings, please check the Advisory Committee Web page, www.ftc.gov/acoas.
