Roads & Travel Conditions

Watch for construction and closures on these Forest Service roads. Construction completion dates are approximate.

  • Marys Peak Road Closure
The seasonal winter closure of the Marys Peak Road started December 12, 2008 with the closure of both the upper and lower gates. Check gate closure status on the Marys Peak page for status of the lower gate throughout the winter.

  • Hebo Ranger District
Recent storms have caused downed trees, slides, snow, ice, and debris on some roads across the Hebo Ranger District, resulting in the temporary closure of some roads.

Please use extreme caution while traveling in forest roads at this time. Road conditions are constantly changing and many hazards exist on the forest both seen and unseen. Forest soils are very saturated and small trees, branches, and debris are in the roadways.
Please contact Hebo Ranger District for updates.

  • Temporary Road Closure/North Fork Siuslaw
(Forest Road 2570 - connects with North Fork of the Siuslaw River road)
A small section of the road will be closed beginning December 9 reopening again sometime mid-January or when logging operations are complete. The road will remain open to traffic on Saturday and Sundays.
