    DTV Newspaper Advertisement throughout the United States and Puerto Rico
    The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intends to make a sole source award for DTV Newspaper Advertising using Media Space Solutions. This requirement is to support a DTV Ad Campaign throughout the United States (January 17, 2009) and Puerto Rico one time during the week of (January 19, 2009). See the attached Combined Synopsis and Solicitation for specifications that will provide information in 81 targeted cities and Puerto Rico.

    Digital Television Transition (DTV) Outreach Support Personnel
    The FCC has a requirement for “Outreach Support Personnel.” The Outreach Support Personnel will be responsible for working in one or more of the following designated locations: Houston, TX; Corpus Christi, TX; Sioux City, IA; Glendive, MT & Minot/Bismarck, ND; Columbus, OH; Fort Wayne, IN; New York, NY; Rochester, NY; Juneau, AK; Salt Lake City, UT; Charleston, SC; Savannah, GA.

    At each of these designated locations, there will be extensive awareness activity including, but not limited to, a public event, such as a Town Hall Meeting, Workshop, or roundtable with a FCC Commissioner and/or other DTV outreach personnel. These Town Hall events and other events held during the period leading up to the transition will require extensive coordination, support, local management and relationship building, as well as local logistical and advance activities. These activities are all designed to educate consumers in those demographic groups that are most vulnerable in the transition. The groups are as follows: Seniors, People Living in Tribal and Rural Areas, People with Disabilities, Individual with Low-Incomes, Minorities, and the Non-English speakers.
