 Oklahoma State University awarded nearly 3,000 undergraduate and graduate degrees during five commencement ceremonies at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater today and Friday.
OSU President Burns Hargis gave remarks during the undergraduate ceremonies, telling graduates, “You have earned a degree from a great land-grant university whose mission is unique among American universities. It is to instruct, research and share the resulting knowledge with our state, our nation and the world. That is why Lincoln created these institutions. |

 Oklahoma State University’s Institute for Agricultural Biosciences groundbreaking ceremonies took place on May 1 in Ardmore. The 33,000-square-foot facility, which should open in 2011, will allow OSU and the Noble Foundation to collaborate to advance state research in agriculture and energy. Read more... |
