The Details of the Project
The federal property known as the Bureau of Mines lies within the boundary of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a unit of the National Park System. This project will consider and identify alternatives and the impacts of such alternatives regarding the disposition of the buildings and land that comprise the Bureau of Mines campus. The analysis process will consider the guidelines of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area's Comprehensive Management Plan and the laws and rules which are applied to the geographic area of the Mississippi River Critical Area.
