Portage
Cache gift store staff pride themselves on providing customers
with the best selection of Lewis and Clark books, videos, music,
artwork, specialty Indian-made products, and educational reproductions
that interpret and commemorate the achievements of the "Corps
of Discovery." Products include CD and cassette tape versions
of a self-guided auto tour of the portage route. The store is operated
by the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Association, and is committed
to assisting the funding of interpretive projects at the Lewis and
Clark Interpretive Center.

Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation Inc.
The Interpretive Center is honored to host the
William P. Sherman Archives Library of the Lewis and Clark Trail
Heritage Foundation Inc. This resource library is one of the premier
repositories for the study of the Lewis and Clark Expedition of
1803-1806 and the largest of its kind between the Atlantic and Pacific
coasts. The facility, open to all researchers, has assisted nationally
known authors, reporters, photographers, teachers, students, property
owners, interpreters of the story, and many others with information,
visuals and research into the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
