About Us


Building Photograph The Remote Sensing Applications Center (RSAC) is located in Salt Lake City, Utah as a detached technical center of the Washington Office (WO) Engineering. RSAC is collocated with the
Geospatial Service and Technology Center (GSTC), also a detached technical center.
RSAC is organized into five program areas:
  • Integration of Remote Sensing
  • Liaison & Special Projects
  • Training & Technology Awareness
  • Inventory-Analysis-Accuracy Assessment
  • Operations
Field Work
These programs provide technology evaluation and development and training support in the use of remote sensing, GIS, image processing, and GPS for all resource applications with primary emphasis on ecosystem management.
