This is the area that we issue forecasts and warnings for. It includes 11 counties in northern Alabama: Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lawrence, Lauderdale, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan; and 3 counties in southern middle Tennessee: Franklin, Lincoln, and Moore.

H.D. Bagley Tribute - Our tribute to famed Huntsville TV meteorologist H.D. Bagley. Former Huntsville Meteorologist-In-Charge John Gordon spoke with the Mr. Bagley shortly before his death in July 2004, and this is what he learned.

More Event Photographs - Pictures of other notable events: National Isaac Cline Award Ceremony (2007) - Lary Burgett earned the prestigious Isaac Cline Award on the national level for support services. NWS Huntsville Awarded Another Bronze Medal - For their work during Hurricane Ivan, Huntsville, along with 10 other NWS offices across the country, was awarded a Department of Commerce Bronze Medal. NWS Huntsville Awarded DOC Bronze Medal - Along with the Birmingham office, NWS Huntsville was awarded the Department of Commerce Bronze Medal for outstanding work during the flooding in May 2003. National Isaac Cline Award Ceremony (2004) - Chris Darden and William Schaub earned the prestigious Isaac Cline Award on the national level for meteorology.
