Report a Food Safety Complaint

Commodity Complaints:

The Food and Nutrition Service’s Food Distribution Division delivers food to recipients through several nutrition assistance programs. The FNS Food Safety Unit monitors commodity complaints and coordinates with food safety partners in the resolution of complaints. To file a complaint about a commodity product provided through any of the Food Distribution Programs, you may:

	File complaint within ECOS
	Contact the Food Safety Unit

Consumer Complaints outside of the USDA Nutrition Assistance Programs:

	Contact the Food Safety Inspection Service’s (FSIS) for food safety complaints involving meat, poultry or egg products.
	Contact the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food safety complaints involving any food product other than meat, poultry, or egg products.
