Organization Registration This is where the process of registering your organization for access to Grants.gov begins; the process takes 3–5 business days but it is recommended you allow yourself four weeks to register in the event you experience any issues. The added time will allow you to complete the process to ensure you meet the closing deadline of the grant opportunity. To submit an application on behalf of your organization you will need to be registered with Grants.gov; check with your organizations grant administrator to verify whether your organization is already registered. It is the E-Business Point of Contact (E-Biz POC) within your organization who must register your organization. The E-Biz POC oversees all of the organization's Grants.gov transactions and assigns Authorized Organizational Representatives (AOR). The AOR is the person who submits the application to Grants.gov and must register.
