USGS/EPA Workshop on Transport and Remediation of Chlorinated Solvents in Fractured Sedimentary Rocks
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Technology Innovation Program are hosting the USGS/EPA Workshop on Transport and Remediation of Chlorinated Solvents in Fractured Sedimentary Rocks at the USGS's New Jersey Water Science Center, West Trenton, New Jersey, on September 25, 2008. This one day workshop will present results of multidisciplinary investigations conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey (in cooperation with the U.S. Navy, Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP), Geosyntec Consultants, and ECOR Solutions) on trichloroethene (TCE) distribution, transport, and biodegradation in fractured mudstones underlying the former Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) to EPA scientists and other invitees.
