GPO Access Biennial ReportPublic Law 103-40 required the Public Printer to submit to Congress a report on the status of GPO Access. Beginning in 1995, the requirement was changed to a biennial report submitted by December 31 of each odd-numbered year. The report includes a description of the functions of the service, including a statement on cost savings in comparison with other forms of information distribution.
While no reports have been issued since 2001, GPO has continued to provide Congress with information on the status of GPO Access through the GPO annual report, Congressional hearings, and testimony of GPO officials before Congress. |
