The Department of Engineering Services (DES) website was built using a blend of both ColdFusion/Fusebox methodologies and Macromedia Contribute configurations. The CF/Fusebox components lay the foundation for applications processing, and the Macromedia Contribute tool allows Content Managers in the field to update the content of the site without intervention from a web developer. The successful blending of these technologies resulted in a standardized template system for all future development requiring these technologies.
