Anestésico: Un agente que causa insensibilidad al dolor.
Demencia: Une estado de función
mental deteriorada.
Dopamina: Un neurotransmisor presente en regiones del cerebro que regulan el movimiento, las emociones, la motivación, y la sensación de placer.
Epidemiología: La suma de los factores que controlan la presencia o ausencia de una enfermedad o afección.
Síndrome de abstinencia ("withdrawal"): Una variedad de síntomas que ocurren después de que se reduce o se para el uso de una droga adictiva.
Sistema nervioso central: El cerebro y la médula espinal.
Tóxico: Que causa efectos temporales o permanentes que son dañinos al funcionamiento de un órgano o de
un grupo de órganos del cuerpo.
