We Can! trainings are instructional, interactive, and provide networking opportunities to community members concerned about the growing problem of childhood overweight.
The trainings are designed to help a variety of audiences in diverse settings, including schools, community-based organizations, federal agencies, hospitals, local and state health departments, and others.
Participants come from all over the United States to better understand how We Can! strengthens efforts to reduce childhood overweight.
We Can! trainings provide participants with the ability to:
We Can! enables organizations interested in being trained on the We Can! program and its curricula to use their staff and financial resources to plan, promote, and facilitate We Can! trainings in their communities.
To request a We Can! training, please download and complete the We Can! training request form with all necessary details and e-mail to nhlbiinfo@nhlbi.nih.gov. We Can! will acknowledge receipt of the form and is available to assist you in order to get your training off the ground.
