Donation Success Stories
The Federal Surplus Personal Property Donation Program enables certain nonfederal organizations to obtain property that the federal government no longer needs. To find out more about the successes of these donations, view the stories by state. The major categories of eligible recipients include:
State Agencies for Surplus Property (SASP) have been established for each state, American Samoa, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the Virgin Islands, to distribute personal property designated as surplus by the federal government.
