Instructions On How To Apply

Thank you for your interest in TSA's Career Resident Program.  The 2009 CRP application period closed on March 31, 2009.  Applications are currently being reviewed and candidate reviews will begin in May 2009.  Please check back for periodic updates and future opportunities.

The application manager can be found at https://applicationmanager.gov

The Application Package includes all of the following parts:

1. Your responses to the Online Occupational Questionnaire.
2. Your résumé and any other documents.
3. Your transcript (unofficial version will be accepted).
4. Veterans Documentation (if applicable).

You can also track your progress to a Complete Application Package using the My Application Packages checklist and status displays in Application Manager.

To begin:

• Click this link to begin the process: https://applicationmanager.gov
   
• Follow the instructions for accessing the system. If you are new to the Application Manager system, you will be required to create a User Name and Password before beginning the application process. If you have used our system in the past, please provide your User Name and Password to continue.
   
• Insert in the "Vacancy Identification Number" box number that corresponds with the position you are applying for. This box will appear on the left hand side of the screen titled "Start a New Application". Click the "Go" button.
   
• Note: If you would like to be considered for multiple positions, you are required to complete the occupational questions developed for each. When you have completed the Online Occupational Questionnaire, click the "Finish" button. You will then be prompted to upload your resume, transcript, and veterans documentation (if applicable). If you need to fax your resume, transcript and veterans documentation separately, see B below. The Online Occupational Questionnaire must be completed and submitted by 11:59 pm, Eastern Standard Time on March, 31, 2009.

B: How to Fax Your Resume, Transcript and Veterans Documentation (if applicable):

• You may submit your resume, transcript and veterans documentation (if applicable) by fax.
   
• Always use the official cover sheet which is provided here -- http://staffing.opm.gov/pdf/usascover.pdf -- and be sure to fill it out completely and clearly.
