Response to Terrorist Attacks and Threats

A response to a terrorist threat or attack is executed under either Crisis Management or Consequence Management. The Criminal Program has been called upon to assist the Lead Federal Agency in response to the terrorist attacks of 9-11 and the anthrax attacks. The program has been called upon to support the FBI and Secret Service during Special Events which have National Security issues, most recently, the 2002 Super Bowl and the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
