Coal
Price Field Office manages approximately 2.8 million acres of federal mineral estate, of which 300,000 acres are split estate (federal subsurface/non-federal surface). Price Field Office produced 25 million tons of low sulfur coal in 2006.
Oil and Gas
Price Field Office manages approximately 2.8 million acres of federal mineral estate, of which 300,000 acres are split estate (federal subsurface/non-federal surface). Half of all royalties from Federal oil and gas royalties go to the State of Utah. Currently, the Price Field Office is working on an EIS for the West Tavaputs gas field.
