Behavioral Health Listservs

What is a Listserver? The IHS listserver is a computer that maintains mailboxes that receive simple e-mail messages and re-sends them to multiple recipients, or "subscribers" to the list. This enables individuals with common interests to conduct conversations and receive information that is relevant to their needs.

The Patient Chart Listserv The IHS Patient Chart listserv is intended to facilitate communication among Patient Chart users, those considering implementation of the Patient Chart, users of the BH GUI, and Behavioral Health Program staff. Subscriptions to the Patient Chart listserv will be managed by the listserv owner in an effort to reduce the potential for "spam" messages that aggravate users and tie up mail systems. If you would like to be added to the IHS Patient Chart listserv, please follow the "To Subscribe" instructions that follow. The main purpose of this listserv is to be sure everyone stays synchronized and aware.

TO SUBSCRIBE:

  1. Send an e-mail to the following address: listserv@listserv.ihs.gov
  2. Send this message from the email account at which you wish to receive Listserv messages. If you want to get messages at two different accounts you will need to subscribe twice.
  3. In the body of the message, type: subscribepatientchart
  4. No subject is needed, no signature line is needed, and nothing else should be in the body of the message.
  5. You will get a confirmation message containing a link. You must navigate to that link, at which time your name will be added to the requested listserv.
