AAID International Meeting in Acapulco, Mexico has been cancelled
The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), in response to the recent health concerns in Mexico, and with the purpose of avoiding risk to our participants, vendors and speakers attending the 1st International Meeting of this Academy (scheduled for May 28 – 30, 2009 in Acapulco, Mexico), have decided to CANCEL the meeting until further notice. No further registrations are being accepted at this time. Planning is currently underway for re-scheduling to a later date. BREAKING NEWS
A Florida judge has ruled that a state law restricting how dentists can advertise credentials issued by bona fide professional organizations is unconstitutional and violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments of the US Constitution. The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the first organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of implant dentistry, calls the verdict a victory for consumers evaluating the qualifications and experience of dentists who perform implant procedures.
