Why Wilderness?

We as Americans understand the importance of our natural resources. Many of us rely on those very resources to support our families and sustain our way of life. Others of us enjoy them during recreation. Protecting these resources only come naturally to us for they are a facet of our everyday life. It is the common bond that we all share for it is the natural world which we all live in.
