EPA provides environmental education resources to enhance your teaching skills and increase your understanding of environmental issues.

Where to get publications and teaching materials

  1. Order curriculum resources from Region 5 - We offer curriculum resources to educators free of charge. This service is limited to requestors in Region 5 states: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI.
  2. Download (nearly all) these documents and print them yourself - We've linked to those sources in our order form, and there's another list of s elected EPA education materials on the EPA Teaching Center site .
  3. The EPA Teaching Center also links to curriculum from a variety of sources outside EPA.
  4. Order education materials from EPA - You can order posters, activity books, coloring books, and classroom kits free from NSCEP, EPA's National Service Center for Environmental Publications.
  5. Publications about environmental education - EE guidelines, EE Funding, EE and Education Reform, EE Knowledge, Status, and History. These documents were all produced with support from US EPA.

Environmental Software

In conjunction with Purdue University, the software development team at EPA designs and produces educational software. Some programs are appropriate for educators and students, while others are more appropriate for community groups and organizations.
