Brief:
Clark University is a small research school with 2,800 students from 80 countries. The average class size is 15 students, with a 10:1 student/faculty ratio. 99% of the faculty have PhD's.
Named "Hottest School for Research" in the fall 2005 Kaplan/Newsweek college guide, our undergraduate have had unusual success in receiving grants, publishing in academic journals, and presenting at scholarly conferences all over the world.
The most popular majors at Clark are psychology, government and international relations, visual & performing arts, english, business management, and communications. Clark also offers qualified students a unique opportunity to earn a tuition-free accelerated master's degree.
Advanced standing credit is offered for A-level exams, the International Baccalaureate diploma (and higher level certificates) and certain other qualifications.
Located in Worcester, Massachusetts (60 kilometers west of Boston), Clark is a coed, urban campus.

32 majors, 28 minors and 9 areas of concentration are offered. Self-designed majors are strongly encouraged as well. Only about one-third of Clark students graduate with a single major.
Clark's psychology program is very well-known (psychology was founded as an academic discipline in the U.S. by G. Stanley Hall, Clark's first President), as are the International Development and Urban Education programs. Also, though small, Clark's geography program is considered the best in the United States. Clark also offers the only PhD in Holocaust and Genocide Studies in the U.S.
