TRI Reporting Aids and Assistance Materials
This Web page will assist facilities in determining whether they must report to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Program. Facilities that are required to file a TRI report must do so before July 1 of each year (see step 1 on TRI timeline graphic).
If you need assistance in determining whether or not your facility must report to the TRI Program, please use the information on our First Time Filers page. This page will also be useful for facility staff that are still familiarizing themselves with the TRI reporting requirements.

EPA provides several types of materials to assist you.

- Reporting Forms and Guidance: This Web page contains a complete set of current TRI forms and accompanying instructions.
- Training on the TRI Regulations: EPA provides training materials, and both on-line and in person training sessions.
- TRI Reporting Software: EPA provides free software, called TRI Made Easy (TRI-ME). This software includes the forms and instructions, and tools to help you prepare your report. The software allows to file your report securely over the Internet at no cost.
