As a federal agency, and part of the scientific community, the Mid-Continent Ecology Division hosts several public events throughout the year. The Division also hosts meetings and conferences for EPA and scientific organizations.

The Mid-Continent Ecology Division (MED) provides guest speakers on environmental topics for public and private schools, clubs, technical colleges and university classes.
