Advocacy

Support can range from meetings by our Commercial Officers to letters and calls from high level authorities, including even at times, the Secretary of Commerce and the President. The Advocacy Center of the U.S. Department of Commerce coordinates these efforts on behalf of all federal agencies, including the financial programs of the Export-Import Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, US Trade Development Agency, and alternative sources.

For more detailed information, please see the
Advocacy Center website

The Advocacy Questionnaire and Anti-Bribery Agreement

The Advocacy Questionnaire is the Advocacy Center's formal way for gathering information about a project. It must be completed and evaluated by the Center's staff before the U.S. government can agree to provide advocacy support. Along with the questionnaire, your company must complete the Anti-Bribery Agreement, which cerfities that your company has not engaged in any bribery of foreign officials.

Please see The Advocacy Questionnaire and Anti-Bribery Agreement for more information and to see a sample and the actual questionnaire.
