Contaminated Sediments
The overall goal of research on contaminated sediments is to improve the scientific foundation of decisions EPA must make concerning how to manage sites with contaminated sediments. The following research projects are the result of a throrough planning process that considered a large number of scientific uncertainties raised by Superfund and that distilled the research needs into four main areas.
