The EPA has formed partnerships with a number of foreign government agencies and other international organizations. These partnerships have led to an ongoing exchange of information and expertise that is beneficial to all members. Examples of international partnerships the United States belongs to include the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (formed with Mexico), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Technical Working Group on Pesticides (with Canada and Mexico), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Pesticide Working Group (with 29 other countries).
