Aerospace Industry
Munich — Mark your calendar and don’t miss the best event for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in the European market! inter airport Europe 2009, the world’s leading trade show for airport equipment, technology and services, takes place October 6-9, in Munich, Germany. The 17th edition of the biennial trade show will be held at the Munich Trade Fair Center, a bigger, better venue that offers first class halls and an extensive outdoor area. It is the only event worldwide to represent the entire airport industry, with exhibits ranging from functional ground support equipment and terminal facilities to IT and security solutions. Mack Brooks Exhibitions, the organizer of inter airport Europe 2009, points out that the global airport industry faces profound challenges with both passenger and freight traffic on a temporary decline at a time of economic challenges. The main focus is on improving operational processes, customer services and security standards while dealing with the related capacity issues. The previous event in 2007 marked a new record, with more than 600 participating companies from 30 countries and nearly 13,000 trade visitors from 128 countries, some 50 percent of which were international visitors. inter airport Europe 2009 will cover the following areas:
